The active tourist can expect to find a well-maintained network of routes for cyclists. In addition, the Routebureau also maintains a number of walking routes and bridle paths in the region.

Naturally it is very important that the well-maintained routes are enjoyed to the full by local residents, day trippers and holidaymakers. The Routebureau works closely with the SPNL and the VVV Midden-Limburg (Association of Tourist Information Centres in Central Limburg) to promote its recreational routes to the active tourist.

It's not always easy to devise a suitable route. At the Routebureau, we are happy to provide advice on this matter – please feel free to contact us on email address info@routebureaulimburg.nl.

The first Sunday in July marks the annual 'Niederrheinischer Radwandertag' (Lower Rhine Cycling Day), which is supported by municipalities in both Germany and The Netherlands. The Routebureau coordinates this event on behalf of the Dutch local councils.
