Routebureau Noord- en Midden-Limburg is the organisation that takes care of the complex task of developing and managing the network of recreational routes throughout the region. This ensures that you can enjoy the outdoor delights of northern and central Limburg to the full. 

1,500 kilometres of cycle routes

Discover the sheer joy of cycling through northern and central Limburg. The network of cycle routes and intersections is clearly signposted and easy to navigate, offering the cyclist endless combinations of routes. More:

2,700 kilometres of walking routes

By now, almost all municipalities in northern and central Limburg have developed a network of walks. There really is something for everyone: for families with children, for those who enjoy a slower pace of life and for avid hikers. More:

Spectacular mountainbike routes

The municipalities of Venray, Horst aan de Maas, Bergen and Weert have challenging routes in store for mountain bikers. The other municipalities in northern and central Limburg are also currently exploring the options. More:

Extensive horse-riding routes

In the municipalities of Gennep and Bergen, and as of 2016 in the whole of central Limburg, you can find a scenic network of horse-riding and horse-driving routes. There are a various of different routes, so you can find something for everyone. More:

Opening horse riding network Leudal

The horse riding network in Leudal is officially opened on Sunday 12 June. The network of horse riding routes amounts to over 190 kilometres of paths that are clearly signposted in both directions.
This network is the result of collaboration with different volunteers.

The network of walking routes and intersections in Nederweert is officially opened on Sunday 24 April. The network of walks in the municipality of Nederweert amounts to over 175 kilometres of paths that are clearly signposted in both directions.

New cycle map for 2016

The new cycle map, which is now available from tourist information offices (VVV), shows the most up-to-date routes within the cycle network. It is also available from the following webshops: Liefdevoorlimburg and VVV Midden-Limburg.
