Routebureau Noord- en Midden-Limburg is the organisation that takes care of the complex task of developing and managing the network of recreational routes throughout the region. This ensures that you can enjoy the outdoor delights of northern and central Limburg to the full.

1,500 kilometres of cycle routes

Discover the sheer joy of cycling through northern and central Limburg. The network of cycle routes and intersections is clearly signposted and easy to navigate, offering the cyclist endless combinations of routes. More

2,700 kilometres of walking routes

By now, almost all municipalities in northern and central Limburg have developed a network of walks. There really is something for everyone: for families with children, for those who enjoy a slower pace of life and for avid hikers. More

Spectacular mountainbike routes

The municipalities of Venray, Horst aan de Maas, Bergen and Weert have challenging routes in store for mountain bikers. The other municipalities in northern and central Limburg are also currently exploring the options. More

Extensive horse-riding routes

In the municipalities of Gennep and Bergen, and as of 2016 in the whole of central Limburg, you can find a scenic network of horse-riding and horse-driving routes. There are a various of different routes, so you can find something for everyone. More

Route change in the municipality of Leudal

The route has been changed in the village of Neer. The new red route has been added and the black route no longer exists. Additionally, intersection 78 has been moved. Please take this into account when planning your route.

The route has been changed in the municipality of Bergen, in the village of Nieuw-Bergen. There is a new section between intersections 89 and 69. Please take this into account when planning your route.

The route has been changed in the municipality of Venlo, in the village of Steyl. The new red route has been added and the black route no longer exists. Additionally, intersection 5 has been moved. Please take this into account when planning your route.

Official opening of Meuse Cycle Route

On Thursday 22 June the International Meuse Cycle Route was officially opened in Venlo. The route stretches for more than 1,000 kilometres from the source of the River Meuse to its mouth.

Official opening of Go Agro

On Tuesday 23 May, the experiential route ‘Go Agro’ in Horst aan de Maas was officially opened by Representative of the Province of Limburg Mr Geurts and Councillor Driessen.

Limburg maintains 4* cycling status

On Tuesday 16 May the Province of Limburg received the four-star certificate from the Dutch National Cycling Platform. This is the second consecutive year that Limburg has maintained its 4-star score, this year with an even bigger margin.

Volunteers' day 2017
