What do we do?

Stichting Routebureau Noord- en Midden-Limburg was founded by Leisure Port and VVV Midden-Limburg on behalf of 13 municipalities in northern and central Limburg.The member municipalities are: Beesel, Bergen, Gennep, Horst aan de Maas, Leudal, Maasgouw, Nederweert, Peel en Maas, Roerdalen, Roermond, Venlo, Venray and Weert.

Tasks

Management and maintenance of the network of cycle routes and intersection

The active tourist/cyclist can depend on a well-maintained network of cycle routes and intersections. In addition, Routebureau also maintains a number of walking routes and bridle paths in the region.

Routebureau…

• intensively checks the routes twice a year;
• resolves problems within 72 hours;
• carries out adjustments to the network;
• produces up-to-date maps of the network of cycle routes and intersections;
• keeps a close eye on the quality of the network.

Digitalisation of routes

Naturally it is very important that the well-maintained routes are enjoyed to the full by local residents, day trippers and holidaymakers alike. Routebureau ensures that Leisure Port and VVV Midden-Limburg promote the latest recreational routes to the active tourist/cyclist.
