
There are official mountain-bike routes in four of northern and central Limburg's municipalities. The mountain-bike routes are indicated by an internationally recognised system of signs along the way. The municipality of Weert has even developed a complete network of mountain-bike routes, amounting to almost 60 kilometres!
The mountain-bike route in Horst en de Maas covers 17 kilometres and is very highly rated among mountain bikers.
The municipality of Venray features a mountain-bike route of 19 kilometres which connects seamlessly to the mountain-bike route in Overloon.
In the municipality of Bergen there are two adjoining mountain-bike routes which together amount to over 26 kilometres.
The other municipalities in northern and central Limburg are also currently exploring the options for developing mountain-bike routes to enable enthusiasts to enjoy the local area by mountain bike.
